Bengal Industries is a full service custom injection-molder. At Bengal, we assist our customers by managing any project from tooling, prototyping and pre-production to PPAP approval and full production.
The core of our services is custom precision injection molding, but we also provide value-added secondary, assembly and tool making services.
Molding Capabilities:Our molding capabilities do include insert/over molding and precision gear molding. We have the experience to handle a range of requirements including parts that need to handle chemical/corrosion resistance, pressure, lubricity, high temperatures and wear. We have years of experience with injection molding a wide range of engineering resins, including glass filled formulations, PTFE filled plastics, and mineral filled materials.
Our process control systems ensure development and implementation of effective manufacturing methods that enable consistency of production through all stages of the process.
Our setup technicians are trained in developing and saving critical processing information such as barrel temperatures, injection & hold times, back pressure, clamp parameters, injection speed, and shot size to electronic media from the sample or first production run. This information is then downloaded to the press's process control system for future production runs. The advantage of downloading this tested and proven information assures part consistency and faster setups.
Bengal has very strong quality assurance processes built into the production flow. Our quality inspectors have six-sigma based training. Furthermore, we have state of the art optical gaging equipment checking all our parts at both facilities.
Tooling, Fixtures and Maintenance:We also offer in-house tooling services as well as mold maintenance and storage. This helps us to ensure that every mold has a long production life. This same service area also develops fixtures to help streamline processes. Depending on the application and scope of the program, fixtures are constructed from a selection of hardwood, aluminum or steel. Bengal has experience building fixtures for sonic inserting, sonic assembly, machining, part cooling/stabilizing, adhesive clamping and decorating.
Secondary Operations:Bengal has the ability to provide secondary operations such as machining, degating or adding inserts to a molded part. We also have a vast array of interchangeable assembly equipment to meet our customers' secondary needs.
Assembly Operations:Over the years, Bengal’s capabilities have grown and we are now able to offer our customers assembly services. These include, but are not limited to, ultrasonic insertion/welding, insert assembly, adhesive bonding, spin welding, custom packaging and complete actuator assembly & functional testing.
Decorating Services:Bengal can also take care of pad printing, screen printing and label application needs.
