Bengal Industries, a subsidiary of CF Gear Holdings LLC, is a precision custom injection molding company dedicated to providing quality parts and service in a fast and flexible manner.
Bengal’s humble beginnings stem from a gear manufacturer, Process Gear which began to develop applications for plastic gears over 40 years ago. The plastic gear business grew to the point that it could stand on its own and in 1981 Bengal Industries was established in Clearwater, Florida. Bengal used the knowledge, experience, and skills gained from molding gears with engineering resins to expand into other markets that required precision molding, close tolerances, and high quality. It is this long history of providing superior molded products that enables Bengal Industries to succeed in demanding markets where others frequently fall short.
At Bengal, we serve a wide variety of markets including: automotive, industrial, office equipment, HVAC, power transmission, medical, and electronics. We have maintained long-term relationships with our customers by providing quality and flexibility to meet any need. Our current business model is to provide regional production for regional demand. This is why we have two manufacturing bases in the US, one in Clearwater, Florida and the other in Chicago, Illinois.
We are in the process of refreshing our shop floor by investing in state of the art equipment and technology, but also through continuous improvement projects with a focus on quality and consistency.
As a management team, we are focused on growth as well as continually improving our ability to produce high quality product. We have the full support of our holding company, CF Gear the primary driver behind our recent growth, as we work towards realising our full potential. Our affiliation with CF Gear also enables us to leverage their global network and alliances to source partially processed parts at extremely competitive prices whenever possible.
Bengal Industries also has a strong commitment to quality, demonstrated by its achievement of ISO/TS 16949:2002 Certification, a globally recognized standard that reflects the quality expectations of the automotive and other subscribing industries.
Our parent company, CF Gear Holdings LLC has been a primary driver behind our recent growth. Apart from investing significant capital in the business, CF Gear has also enabled Bengal Industries to establish an alliance with a competitive and high quality tooling source in China, resulting in significant savings for both our customers and us.
